Robert “Doc” McAnespie Scholarship Fund
The Fund was established at the Greater Lowell Community Foundation in memory of “Doc” McAnespie, a well-known resident of Dracut, who was a community, civic and political leader and activist.
The scholarship will be awarded to a Lowell Catholic High School graduate who resides in one of the following towns: Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury and Tyngsboro. To receive the scholarship award of $500, the applicant will be asked to provide documentation that he or she is enrolled on a full-time basis in a 4-year degree program at an institution of higher learning.
The applicant must show financial need, a record of academic excellence, an exemplary level of civic and community service, work experience and /or participation in extracurricular activities.
