Justin Ward

Justin Ward is a musician and woodworker based in Lowell, MA. He performs professionally on the trumpet with the Party Band: a community focused, original brass band rooted in the city of Lowell that brings the New Orleans tradition to audiences of all kinds. Additionally, he performs with Magnificent Danger, an energetic collective of musicians from the Greater Boston area that craft unique arrangements of music from video games and anime.

As a result of his immersion in this wonderful group of musicians for over a decade, Justin has developed the tools and experience essential for community leadership and musical education. Through working with the Honk! Festival organization, Justin has been fortunate enough to travel the country and internationally, learning and strengthening bonds with musicians and audiences across the streets of Planet Earth.

Justin has built a career in woodworking across many disciplines including fine finish carpentry, picture framing, and marine carpentry. Through these artistic endeavors, he aims to teach those in his community the skills of creative development and self-discovery. Justin believes art is a foundational part of the human experience and should be accessible to all.
