Andrea Wilson
Andrea Wilson is an artist educator whose work explores the emotional landscapes of grief, loss, and healing. Through hand-stitching, expressive mark-making, and an intuitive approach to color and form, Wilson creates works that invite reflection on the experiences that shape us and the traces they leave behind.
Her practice is rooted in the belief that art can provide a space for processing what is difficult to express in words. Wilson’s paintings move between vulnerability and resilience, exploring absence, transformation, and the possibility of finding meaning within loss.
As an artist educator, Wilson is passionate about working with young artists and helping them discover the transformative power of art. She encourages curiosity, experimentation, and authentic self-expression, creating opportunities for young people to explore their ideas and experiences in a safe space. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that art can build confidence, foster connection, and open new ways of seeing both ourselves and the world around us.
Through both her studio practice and education work, Wilson continues to explore how art can help us remember, heal, connect, and transform.
