Jillian Berlinski

As an artist, Jillian Berlinski is drawn to the idea that functional artwork can transform daily routine into daily rituals. She loves that pottery combines the elements earth, water, wind, and fire to alchemize mud into art. Jillian’s work is influenced by nature, gardening, and her love of cooking. Her pottery business, J Sonya Pottery, has been selling ‘art you’ll love to use’ since 2022.

Jillian also has a Masters of Education and a combined 20+ years of teaching in public schools and enrichment settings. Much of her teaching career has been focused on different learning styles and methods of communication.

Combining her experience as a teacher and as an artist, Jillian is passionate about how the process of making art can help people learn more about themselves and love more about themselves.
